Afternoons of fellowship for all ages
This month we are delighted to welcome children from St Michael's School who will be singing carols to and with us.
Saturday 6th December
10am-1pm Christmas Holly Fair and Tower Tours
Food, stalls, refreshments and handmade holly wreaths. ALL proceeds to charity.
Sundays 7* and 14 December
10am Worship Service
Sunday 21st December
10am Parish Communion
6pm Service of Nine Lessons & Carols
Beautiful choral music and traditional congregational carols.
Wednesday 24th December
10am-3pm Church open for prayer, all ages welcome:
Come and see the Christmas Crib
Write a prayer and hang it on the Christmas Tree
Enjoy the fresh floral displays
Children’s activities (Lady Chapel)
3:30pm Crib Service for all
Children welcome to dress as a character from the Nativity
11pm Midnight Mass

We've got videos, crafts, worship, activity sheets, quizzes and fun facts. Young people meet for A Godly Play every Sunday during our 10am service. There will be a big Advent theme online and in person coming soon!

Share Christmas Greetings amongst our Church Community with our Giant Christmas Card
This year, we're delighted to have our usual Giant Card on display in the Publicity Area in church so why not, instead of incurring postal charges, make a donation to The Children’s Society. Jot a greeting to your church friends and add a donation to The Children's Society Box.

A Virtual Choir for Christmas in Covid ... but our St Michael's Choir will be singing in many of our services this Christmas!
In 2020, members of Churches Together in Bishop’s Stortford came together as a virtual choir to sing ‘Joy to the World’ (arranged by Paul Burrell). You might like to listen to / watch it on YouTube

This year, there will be plenty of opportunities to share in choral worship at St Michael's - from our
Advent Service at 10am on Sunday 30th November, to
Nine Lessons & Carols on Sunday 21st December, to
Midnight Mass at 11pm on Christmas Eve and our
10am service on Christmas Day.
