Christian Aid 

St Michael's supports the work of Christian Aid both through appeals from time to time in response to disasters, and also through the annual 'house to house' collection during Christian Aid Week in May.

Each year members of the church deliver Christian Aid envelopes to hundreds of houses in the town and visit them to collect financial donations.  Over £1700 is usually raised annually by members of the church in this effort.
