St Michael’s Awayday

Building God’s Church

St Barnabas Centre St James the Great, Thorley CM23 4BE Saturday 6th May 2017 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

We would love you to come to an ‘Awayday’ we are planning for the 6th May. It will be a chance for us to spend some time together as a church family, to worship, pray, talk and eat together. We hope it will be a great opportunity for us to get to know one another better than, sometimes, Sunday mornings in church can allow. We want especially to spend time worshipping, thinking and praying about how God is building his church at St Michael’s, and how we can join in even more with what Jesus is doing in our parish and town, so that more people can discover Jesus alongside us. There will be time for fun and fellowship.

Canon Tim Lomax, Diocesan Director of Mission, will lead us in spiritual reflection and group discussions. We’d love it if you can come to share your thoughts, listen to others, and, above all, try to hear what God is saying to us in 2017.

We’ll be at the St Barnabas Centre at St James, Thorley. We’ve chosen St James since it’s a different and pleasant environment for us, whilst still local enough to encourage as many as possible to come along. Ample parking is available.

Lunch is provided, and children’s activities are proposed, alongside the sessions for adults, so that all the family can join in. We’d love you to join in. Please complete the form at the foot of this page if you can come.
