Holy Week is when we commemorate Jesus’ final entry into Jerusalem, his passion (suffering) and his crucifixion. We begin on Palm Sunday with Parish Communion at 10am and at 6pm the Choir will perform Fauré’s Requiem.
Our worship from Maundy Thursday to Easter is traditionally referred to as Triduum (‘Three Days’). These services centre around a dramatic retelling of the story of Christ’s arrest, passion, crucifixion and resurrection. Rather than four separate services, this worship can be seen as the different acts of one play. All are most welcome to our services and it would be lovely if you could join us for all of these acts of worship, as we journey with Christ, but please feel welcome to join us for what you can.
